This policy explains how CarChargeOS collects and uses information through carchargeos.com - the marketing site, our contact and demo-request forms, and the resources we publish here. It does not cover the branded driver apps or operator dashboards CarChargeOS builds and runs for our customers: those are operated by the charging network operator, who controls what driver and session data is collected and how it's used. If you're an EV driver with a question about a specific charging app or network, that operator - not CarChargeOS - is the right place to ask.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use the contact or book a demo forms, we collect what you submit - typically name, work email, company, phone number, connector or fleet size, and anything you write in a message field.
- Usage and device information. Like most websites, we collect information about how the site is used - pages visited, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type - through analytics tooling described below.
- Cookies. We use cookies and similar technology to support analytics and remember basic preferences (such as your selected language).
How we use this information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule or run product demonstrations.
- To follow up about our platform, pricing, or a request you've made.
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve its content and performance.
- To detect and prevent spam or abuse of our forms.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use form submissions to build advertising profiles.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process data outside your country of residence under Google's own terms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you send a “do not track” signal, though the site does not currently respond differently to that signal.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Service providers who host our infrastructure, send email, or provide analytics and customer-relationship tooling, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CarChargeOS, our customers, or others.
- A future business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition - in which case this policy would continue to govern how that information is handled unless you're notified otherwise.
Data retention
We keep contact and demo-request submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of the business relationship, and delete or anonymize them when they're no longer needed for that purpose or for legal and accounting requirements.
Security
Information submitted through this site is transmitted over encrypted connections and handled under the practices described on our security page.
International data transfers
CarChargeOS operates across Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and our hosting and service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate contractual and technical safeguards with those providers.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. You can exercise any of these by emailing privacy@carchargeos.com or using the contact form, and to opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message you receive from us.
Children's privacy
This site is directed at businesses evaluating a charging platform and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or applicable law changes. We'll update the date below when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
